Our Business Development team is currently growing! We’re seeking a Regional Manager & Portfolio Strategist – someone who works closely with the Regional Vice-President (RVP) as a key relationship manager for all IPC advisors and branch managers in a defined region. The regional team provides both business and portfolio advisory services within an advisor and client focused culture. The Regional Manager & Portfolio Strategist will be responsible for regional sales management, with a particular focus on portfolio construction, and act as a champion for IPC Portfolio Services solutions. This individual will create a win-win by supporting the advisor in creating a profitable business and great outcomes for the client.

What is the role of the Regional Manager & Portfolio Strategist?

  • Act as the first point of contact for our advisors and their team
  • Support and collaborate with RVPs in managing the region
  • Promote our value proposition and educate advisors on all our products, portfolio solutions, and services
  • Support advisors in building portfolios to meet the needs of key client demographics
  • Represent and champion IPC Portfolio Services solutions with advisors
  • Lead events and educational sessions to help our advisors grow and improve
  • Support advisors in building a better business through the business plan process
  • Act as a liaison between the advisor and IPC to help them build a better business, ensuring they're on right platform, and aid in succession planning
  • Leverage the subject matter experts throughout IPC and leverage tools to support advisors

What are the preferred qualifications for a Regional Manager & Portfolio Strategist?

  • Minimum of 3-5 years financial services experience in a sales capacity, preferably in the wealth management space
  • Minimum completion of post-secondary education in business or related discipline
  • CIM designation required
  • CFP or CFA would be an asset
  • Equipped with strong consultative sales and communication skills
  • Proven ability to put the client first and uses this mindset when creating solutions
  • Purpose driven individual that has the ability to be a self-starter
  • Occasional travel may be required
